CloudXR Client Demo source code has been uploaded on GitHub
( https://github.com/picoxr/CloudXR_Client_Demo )

Firstly, obtain CloudXR SDK v3.0 from Nvidia. Then import the files into the project as instructed below.

So the cloudxr app works great - but the actual HMD renders are very dark. is there a way to increase the brightness of the stream in the code - i'm wondering if its in the shaders somewhere? Im not a OpenGL dev so would be great if you can point the way.

So comparing between cloudXR3.0 streaming and the default streaming assistant - what are the pros and cons of using cloudxr over assistant?

CloudXR is Nvidia's solution, game runs in the cloud through Nvidia platform. Streaming assistant is Pico's solution, streaming over the LAN or using cables

Hi

Cloudxr can also run locally over the Lan with a server running on the local steam pc. Based on my current testing, even though there is greater flexibility on config than the streaming assistant, the major down side of cloudxr is the lack of boundary sync.

Thanks bro, new thing to me

Will someone be keeping the github project up to date with the CloudXR updates (already version 3.1.1 has been released) - or will there be a CloudXR app that will be useable rather than creating and sideloading the app from a PC?

The github projecthas been updated if anyone is interested to cloudxr 3.1.1. I would say that the streaming quality is well above that of the Pico Streaming assistant. The only negatives are that the controllers think they're oculus touch. Also the picture is very dark.

Hi Andy, have you resolved the dark frame issue? I tried this demo project and it seems the frame buffers are in the wrong color space.

Hi, I moved back to using the Pico streaming solution as it fixed all the latency issues. I've not moved back to trying the cloudXR version. I agree it looked like it was a colour space issue.

It doesn't seem working with CloudXR v3.2. I tried in Pico Neo 3. It displays black screen in HMD while Steam VR does not recognize the device.

Dear developer,
Sorry, CloudXR V3.2 is not currently supported and it support is expected by the end of August.
