Hi,

I'm using a Pico Neo 3 Pro.
I tested the Enterprise Assistant (v.1.1.1) to enable the video player Kiosk mode and now I want to reverse the process.
I tried to use a backup of the "pre_resource" folder. I copied it to the device storage root folder. This worked to start the device again with the standard laucher, but I cannot get the HOME button working again. I tried using SystemKeyConfig.prop, but the Home button stays disabled no matter which settings I try.

The only way I can now see to reverse the process is resetting the device to factory settings.

Please advise on how to properly reset the video Kiosk Mode enabled by the Enterprise Assistant.

Many thanks,

Constantin

Dear developer,
Could you please provide screenshot information of Enterprise Assistant (V.1.1.1)?
And do you have Industries Settings on your device?

Here you can change the launcher.

Hi, thanks for the reply!
My issue is not resetting the launcher, that works fine.

My issue is getting the HOME button to work again. I have not been able to set the HOME button actions using SystemKeyConfig.prop. Using SystemKeyConfig.prop worked before, it does not work anymore since I used the Enterprise Assistant to put the Neo 3 in Kiosk Mode.

Do you have advice on how to set the HOME button actions?

Here is a screenshot of the Enterprise Assistant I used:

Addendum: I found the option to set the HOME button actions in the Enterprise Options menu. The button now works as it should.

If possible, could you confirm anyway that the proper workflow to get a device out of Kiosk Mode after using the Enterprise Assistant is to copy a backup of of the "pre_resource" folder to the device? Or is there a better way?

Dear developer,
You can try to delete the relevant configuration files in pre_resource directly.
The devices sould enter the system's default launhcer.
