Silent installer

ziparchive: Unable to open '/storage/emulated/0/Download/Test.apk': Permission denied

Using the java code from your silent installer, and a signed APK I attempted to install but I am facing issues with permissions, any quick way to gain this access? :)

I've tried with some permissions, but it appears the Download folder is outside this.

As a result PackageParser can't read AndroidManifest.xml

Hi,I think read and write permissions are necessary, did you add it in AndroidManifest.xml:

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />

Yes, those permissions are already given.

I use the following configuration:
minSdkVersion 25
targetSdkVersion 31
